The contents of Decision No. 167-Council of Ministers has the following terms:
Article 1: From now on that each year will take 20th November days for Vietnamese teachers .
Article 2: To date 20th November have practical significance that each year in October from the authorities and the whole should meet to review the situation and activities of teachers in their locality, a review of work done and work out what level to continue to encourage teachers to promote the fine traditions of Vietnam's education and training quality and force and an example for students to follow. To the teachers, there needs to have diverse activities to raise awareness about the honor and responsibilities of teachers in today's society our country, thereby making every effort to do that good of his noble mission .
