On 28th November, 1959 President Ho Chi Minh brought out a ordinance about planting forest in the whole country. In this Ordinance, President advised everyone in the country should be planting. At once not expensive and it brings a long-term benefits for the country. Children from eight to older can participate in planting the forest.
On 28th June, 1995, at the request of the Ministry of Forestry at the time, In other to encourage to officers and employees in the forestry sector activities in the country, implement the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, Prime Minister signed a decision 380/TTG, taken on 28th November as the traditional day for the forestry sector in Vietnam.
On the anniversary of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam Forestry, I wish the value teacher together with my colleagues in olden time have a good healthy and having much luck in life. I know, this is an opportunity for those in the forestry sector met to review their memories while working in the sector. The stories are full of happy and sad memories so touched, so proud when each person has a small part in the construction and protection, forest development, contributing to environmental protection, economic development the country is getting richer.
I have switched to the another field, but I always wish for strengthened forest sustainability, green environment more and more!

LỊCH SỬ NGÀY LÂM NGHIỆP VIỆT NAM
Ngày Lâm nghiệp Việt Nam hay Ngày truyền thống ngành lâm nghiệp Việt Nam là ngày kỷ niệm truyền thống của toàn thể cán bộ, công nhân viên chức đang hoạt động và đã từng hoạt động, gắn bó với ngành lâm nghiệp tại Việt Nam, được tổ chức vào ngày 28 tháng 11 hàng năm.
Vietnam Forestry Day or The Traditional Day of Vietnam forestry sector is a traditional celebration day of all officials, employees are working and have been operating, attached to the forestry sector in Vietnam, has been held on November 28 every year.
Ngày 28 tháng 11 năm 1959 Chủ tịch Hồ Chí Minh ra pháp lệnh trồng rừng trong cả nước. Trong pháp lệnh này, Hồ Chủ tịch đã khuyên nhân dân cả nước nên trồng rừng. Trồng rừng vừa không tốn kém, lại mang về lợi ích lâu dài cho đất nước. Trẻ em từ 8 tuổi trở lên có thể tham gia trồng rừng.

Ngày 28 tháng 6 năm 1995, theo đề nghị của Bộ Lâm nghiệp lúc bấy giờ, để cổ vũ động viên cán bộ công nhân viên chức hoạt động trong ngành lâm nghiệp trong cả nước, thực hiện lời dạy của Chủ tịch Hồ Chí Minh, Thủ tướng Chính phủ đã ký quyết định 380/TTG lấy ngày 28 tháng 11 làm ngày truyền thống cho ngành lâm nghiệp Việt Nam.

Nhân dịp kỉ niệm 50 năm ngày Lâm nghiệp Việt Nam, tôi xin chúc quý thầy cô giáo cùng quý đồng nghiệp năm xưa lời chúc sức khỏe và gặp nhiều may mắn trong cuộc sống. Đây cũng là dịp để những người trong ngành lâm nghiệp gặp nhau để ôn lại những kỷ niệm đẹp của mình khi còn làm việc trong ngành. Những câu chuyện chứa đầy những kỷ niệm vui buồn thật xúc động, thật tự hào khi mỗi người đã góp một phần nhỏ vào sự nghiệp xây dựng và bảo vệ, phát triển rừng, góp phần bảo vệ môi trường, xây dựng nền kinh tế đất nước ngày càng giàu mạnh.
Tôi đã chuyển sang công tác lĩnh vực khác, nhưng tôi luôn cầu chúc cho Rừng ngày càng được củng cố bền vững, môi trường ngày thêm xanh đẹp hơn.
